Day By Day

There are definitely those times in our life when we need the extra energy to go get things done. Be it a task, work or simply on the days of struggling to get up from bed. There is an answer for everything that happens around us. Observe and reciprocate. Learn and grow. Forgive and forget. The key lies in taking life day by day and one step at a time.

What we think about consumes our energy. Thoughts are good up to a point where they start blocking your strength. Hence we need to focus on exactly what we want out of our life. Energy is contagious. It gets bigger as we stress on it. Some issues may concern about a person or an important thing. We should be aware of how that will affect us. Because in the long run, it’s only you who is responsible for your happiness.

As you travel through life there are always those times when decisions just have to be made,
When the choices are hard, and solutions seem scarce,
And the rain seems to soak your parade.

There are some situations where all you can do
Is simply let go and move on,
Gather your courage and choose a direction
That carries you toward a new dawn.

So pack up your troubles and take a step forward –
The process of change can be tough,
But think about all the excitement ahead

There might be adventures you never imagined
Just waiting around the next bend,
And wishes and dreams just about to come true
In ways you can’t yet comprehend!

Perhaps you’ll find friendships
that spring from new things
As you challenge your status quo,
And learn there are so many options in life,

Perhaps you’ll go places you never expected
And see things that you’ve never seen,
Or travel to fabulous, faraway worlds
And wonderful spots in between!

Perhaps you’ll find warmth and affection and caring
And somebody special who’s there
To help you stay centered and listen with interest
To stories and feelings you share.

Perhaps you’ll find comfort in knowing your friends
Are supportive of all that you do,
And believe that whatever decisions you make,
They’ll be the right choices for you.

So keep putting one foot in front of the other,
And taking your life day by day…
There’s a brighter tomorrow that’s just down the road
Don’t look back! You’re not going that way!

Love the journey of life. ❤

  1. This was a warming thing to read. I enjoyed it quite a lot. Though I am curious. Did you also draw the picture? It’s a lovely addition to the post and connects with it quite well. Thanks for writing this, dearie. It was, without a doubt, a beautiful piece.

  2. Like the ink drawing. The simplicity of the moon or sun contrasted with the dark inkiness of the trees-nice touch. The inspirational writing stuff is all over blogs-usually sentimental and vapid. Sorry, but it’s true. You express more in the drawing. Focus on that.

  5. Please help me and my family spread our website, Barak Allahu Feeki. It’s an Islamic website and my father is a well-known student of knowledge. I would highly appreciate it, Shukraan. He’s American, and He’s been teaching since 2009, and I think he’s working on his Basters or masters or something I don’t remember.
